INCIPRESA presents its CIES Project at the American Firefighters OBA 2024 Annual Assembly
In the framework of the Annual Assembly of American Firefighters OBA 2024, held in Chile, Incipresa stood out not only for its role as sponsor in the allies category, but also for the innovation and environmental commitment presented through its Eco-Sustainable Fireproof Bodywork Project (CIES). This event brought together more than 180 firefighter leaders from 14 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as two invited countries from Europe, to discuss the future of managing large-scale disasters affecting nations, marking the most important international meeting on the subject.
At the opening ceremony, with the prominent presence of the Minister of the Interior and Public Security, Carolina Tohá, and the President of the OBA, Juan Carlos Field, a space for unprecedented dialogue and collaboration between the different governing bodies of the Organization was proposed, including debates on gender equality, diversity and, above all, the focus on professionalization and disaster risk reduction by the continent’s fire departments.
The OBA represents more than 1.5 million firefighters on the continent, focusing on international cooperation and the professionalization of fire services for an effective response to emergencies.
The collaboration between INCIPRESA and the OBA highlights the synergy between industry and firefighting organizations. In this context of commitment and collaboration, INCIPRESA, the leading Spanish company in the design, manufacture and maintenance of rescue and firefighting vehicles, presented the CIES Project, constituting a fundamental part of its strategy for innovation and continuous improvement.
The project, a milestone in R&D&I, proposes a revolution in firefighting, adopting 3D printing technology for the development of firefighting vehicles, which not only represents a technological innovation but also an eco-sustainable production model.
The CIES Project positions INCIPRESA at the forefront of 4.0 technology, highlighting its commitment to the environment and the safety of communities, while offering innovative and sustainable solutions for the challenging future of firefighting and rescue. This project underlines the importance of adaptation and technological progress in the manufacture of specialized vehicles, setting new standards in efficiency and ecological responsibility.
INCIPRESA’s participation in the OBA 2024 Annual Assembly and the presentation of the CIES Project reaffirm the crucial role that innovation and sustainability play in the evolution of emergency and civil protection services, marking a promising future in the fight against large-scale disasters.
